"Ylva de Lune" was founded in summer 2020 by singer Ylva and songwriter Alpha. Blending elements of Shoe- and Blackgaze, Doom and (Post) Black Metal with clean vocals they created a unique sound.

A truly stellar death/doom album with heavy doses of black metal. Tracks like Isolation, Child of Light, and Broken Hymns deliver the sorrowful and icy tone of this album, elevated by the stirring cello compositions of Raphael Weinroth-Browne. The album delivers a deeply satisfying crescendo in Becoming Intangible before stirring the soul once again with Epilogue.

Have only listened to the first three tracks so far. Somehow the indie/grunge/funereal/doom elements meld together well. Well worth a listen! 😁 Update - couldn't stop listening. No weak tracks. Music that won't stand still, but holds up well throughout. My favourite non-electronic release for some time. Thanks so much for the code! 😎
